How does Scentsy work?

The simple warmer system works like this: Choose your warmer, pick your fragrance add wax to warmer and enjoy!
Warmers come in unique designs, stunning details and are designed to safely melt our signature scented wax without any flame, soot or smoke. And with plenty of high-quality options all crafted by artisans around the word, you're sure to find something that fits your style and space.
But how does a Scentsy warmer melt wax? I'm glad you asked!
Again, it's simple...
A Scentsy bulb comes with every traditional Scentsy warmer, screw in the bulb, plug the warmer in, turn on the roll switch set the dish onto the warmer, add wax cubes in your fragrance choice and viola home fragrance at its best.
The Scentsy wax melts at a very low melting temperature and is never hot enough to burn children, pets or even you. Yes, there are wax-i-dents but the mess is the worst part. Traditional candles can be so scary, I never worry about turning off and on my warmers when I leave the house. My warmers stay on 24 hours a day 7 days a week, with no worries. The very same easy light bulb system applies to our Scentsy mini warmers. A 15-watt Scentsy bulb, plug in, turn on the switch and drop in a cube of wax.

How does a Scentsy Element warmer work?
A Scentsy element warmer is the same exact process as its friend the traditional bulb warmer except there's no Scentsy bulb! Thats right, warm wax no bulb. Each element Scentsy warmer has a warming plate that the dish sets on to warm the wax to the correct melting point for optimal fragrance! Some element warmers are all one piece with no dish at all warming from within the glass or ceramic formation. Here are a couple examples of our beautiful element warmers.
Do you have to use Scentsy wax in Scentsy warmers?
My first answer... YES why wouldn't you? Some may say big box is cheaper my answer to that... in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Scentsy wax is made to melt at the temperature our warmers warm. We maximize the amount of fragrance oil in each cube of wax and have scientists working constantly to be sure our wax is the very best in fragrance. WE don't warm candle wax, we warm wax that is optimized for warming not burning, every element is purposeful and specific.
