Question 11 -
What is PRV?
Corporate answer-
PRV stands for Personal Retail Volume, and it is the global point value of commissionable products you sell and how Consultants are paid commissions. All products are assigned a PRV point value, which is then converted to local currency using a peg rate specific to each country.
That Wax Life Answer-
PRV is the amount of Scentsy products I sell in any given month that I make commission on. Here's a secret I learned early on though, if you only sell Scentsy products you limit your income! One person can only sell so much Scentsy right? Share the products, yes but share the opportunity and your income becomes limitless.
Question 12-
Are there monthly Sales Requirements for Scentsy Consultants?
Corporate answer-
To be considered “active,” you must generate sales resulting in 200 points or more in PRV in a single month. The 200 points in PRV can come from individual customer orders, party orders or online orders made through your PWS. To keep your account current, you must be active at least once in a consecutive 12-month period. If you sponsor any Consultants, you must be active at least once in a consecutive four-month period to retain your downline.
That Wax Life Answer-
Ok, Can I be real with you just for a minute? Why not ask is there a limit on what I can sell? The sky is the limit, set the bar high sis. People want to purchase fragrance, with or without you. Is there a minimum yes, the question is though, what is your sales goal?
Question 13-
How much Money can you make as a Scentsy Consultant?
Corporate answer-
It’s up to you. As a Scentsy Consultant, the more you work your business, the more you can earn. Scentsy’s Compensation Plan To see what Consultants earned on average, please see the Income Disclosure Statement.
That wax Life answer-
Woah, that was vague right... the truth is I cannot say how much money you will make. I don't know your work ethic or your drive. I can tell you 6, even 7 figures annually is possible and happening. You get to choose your income, you also get to choose how much time and hard work you invest in this business. So how much money will you make? *the income disclosure is attached at the bottom of the page because results aren't typical. It takes special people to be their own boss and level up.
Question 14-
Do need to pay for all my orders with a credit or debit card?
Corporate answer-
All payments from Consultants to Scentsy must be made via credit card, debit card, through your Consultant Pay Portal, or through payment methods specific to your country. Ask your sponsor for more details. Scentsy does not accept cash, money orders or checks. However, you are welcome to accept payment from your customers in whatever form you choose. If a customer pays with a check, it must be made out to you as the Consultant.
That Wax Life Answer-
Do not, I repeat pay for anyone else's order with your card. Ever. If they write you a check, you deposit it then pay for their order that's good. I would never recommend money out of your pocket for anyone's order. They pay, you order with their card or cash deposited into your account. We do have the option to collect PayPal payment and pay that way too!
Question 15-
How Can I sell Scentsy Products?
Corporate Answer-
Scentsy is built off the party plan. You can hold in-home parties, basket parties, open houses or online parties, and you may also take orders through your PWS.
That Wax Life Answer-
By sharing! online, in person, any way you can! Collect orders through your personal website, host or have someone host a Scent social, do a online social or even set up a booth at an event. Have friends come by to sniff and order and take the catalog and products with you while your out doing life.
Question 16-
How do I earn incentive trips as a Scentsy Consultant?
Corporate answer-
All current Consultants worldwide are eligible to earn incentives, including trips and other prizes, by meeting specific activity requirements. Ready for your next adventure? Ask your Consultant or Sponsor to learn more about the requirements to earn the current incentive trip.
That Wax Life Answer-
By working very hard during the allotted time towards the goals the company sets for you to achieve and help others achieve. Earning an incentive isn't easy but when you work hard and grow your business it's definitely achievable. I can help!
Question 17-
Do I have to Sponsor other Consultants?
Corporate Answer-
No. However, Consultants who sponsor new team members tend to earn more PRV over time and are about 60% more likely to stay with Scentsy long term!
That Wax Life Answer-
Of course not, it's your business! Should you? Absolutely! You love Scentsy and you'll love being a consultant even more. I would feel horrible if I had never shared this fantastic business with other people and you'll want to do the same thing. Life is better with friends by your side!
Question 18-
I've been a Scentsy Consultant before; Can I re-join?
Corporate Answer-
Former Consultants are always encouraged to apply for an account reinstatement. Please note that there’s a minimum waiting period of three months if your account was cancelled for inactivity or six months if your account was cancelled for any other reason. Check out Workstation Lite to see your reinstatement eligibility date. Reinstated Consultants have the option to purchase a Reinstatement Kit to restart their business.

Ummm... Absolutely! I want you back and I want to be your sponsor. Maybe life got in the way before or maybe it just wasn't the right time for you. Depending on your circumstance as stated above there may be a waiting period but either way I can help. Let's get you back on the team!
Question 19-
Is Scentsy a multilevel marketing (MLM) company?
Corporate Answer-
Scentsy is a party plan company, which is characterized by a social event — typically in a home, in person or online — where independent Consultants promote the products of their choosing within Scentsy’s product lineup. The party plan model gives Consultants the advantage of being able to help multiple customers experience the products at one time.
That Wax Life Answer-
Ooooh this is a touchy one right? MLM in general has a bad wrap right? No one wants to be the girl that wont leave you alone, leaving random messages. The idea that we only make money off of others sales. Yikes. I'm here to tell you after 13 years of hard work, if I don't work this month, I don't make a dime! There's no kick back with your feet up when you reach a benchmark. I never cold message or call and I do not message strangers, ever. All businesses are in levels, I had more than a dozen jobs before Scentsy and never once was there a level playing field like there is in Scentsy. I want you to succeed, I want you to be the same "level" as me. There's room at the table and I want to help you be your very best.

We always recommend first reaching out to your Sponsor or team — they’re such a valuable resource! And the home office provides numerous training opportunities and online tools. Do Scentsy Consultants get a discount on products?
Corporate Answer-
While we don’t offer a traditional discount, Scentsy Consultants are welcome to host their own Scentsy parties and take advantage of our generous Host Rewards to get free and half-price products.
That Wax Life Answer-
Nope, but that's a good thing and here's why! If you can purchase products at a lower price that what's in the catalog or online, you feel like you should give friends and family a discount, right?! No consultant discount takes that out of the equation. Have them host and earn free and half priced items and let them purchase. You own a business and others should respect your prices. You make commission on all sales even if you're purchasing from yourself so it evens out.
