Which bulb do I need for my Scentsy Warmer? The type & wattage bulb you need is dependent on which warmer that you have obviously. All Scentsy warmers that use a bulb (not all warmers do) will have one of three sizes & wattages. If you have a mini-warmer, then you will need a 15w bulb with a candelabra stem.

If you have a larger warmer you need a bigger bulb! There are 2 options for our full-size warmers you will need either a 20w or 25w bulb. How can you tell which one you need? There are 3 ways to tell...
You can check the current Scentsy catalog and if your warmer is still current & featured then you will see the wattage listed below the warmer picture.
Check the bottom of your warmer, there is a small silver sticker that lists the wattage of the bulb you need.

Can I use a different brand bulb in my Scentsy warmers?
Yes, BUT...
Any bulb you use must have the same wattage, if you get a bulb with higher wattage, it can cause damage to your warmer as well as burn or overheat your wax. Scentsy wax has a very low melting point and too much wattage is not safe.
Our Scentsy lifetime warranty is also voided when you purchase and use a bulb that isn't from Scentsy.

What bulb do I need for my Scentsy Element warmer and my Scentsy Diffuser? You don't need a bulb at all! Scentsy element warmers have warming plates that you cannot replace. If you warming plate stops working contact me and we can replace your warmer for free. Yay for the Scentsy lifetime warranty!
What about that diffuser? Our diffusers have led lights that change colors, but these bulbs and lights are all internal and cannot be replaced by you. If your light on your diffuser or deluxe diffuser stops working contact me so we can replace your diffuser! Another round of applause for the Scentsy lifetime warranty!
How long will my Scentsy bulb last?
Good question! While there isn't a specific answer, I do have a couple tips that can help your bulbs last longer!
My bulbs last month's even years because I leave them on all the time! Scentsy bulbs that are switched off and on daily or several times a day tend to burn out quickly. Bulbs have a tiny filament inside and each time they are clicked off and, on its wear, and tear on that tiny filament. Just like moving a bulb around or shaking it can break that tiny thread the constant switching can wear it out quicker.
Also, place warmers where they aren't bumped or bothered. Keep your wax and your bulbs steady and safe!
Can I use colored bulbs in my Scentsy Warmer?
Yes! Scentsy has colored bulbs too! They can completely change your warmer look, warm
the wax the same and are fun for holidays and special occasions! Colored Scentsy bulbs warm the wax the same and are safe and beautiful.
We currently have blue, green, orange, red and purple bulb color choices. Try them all you'll love the change! Again, I don't recommend purchasing colored bulbs outside of Scentsy because the wattage and temperature won't be specially formatted for Scentsy wax.
Long Story Short... Save yourself time, stress and hassle by getting authentic Scentsy bulbs for your warmers. They melt your wax properly, are safest for warming and keep your amazing warranty in tact! Also, supporting a consultant and a small business is always better than supporting big box!
